Are you interesting in learning more about a specific building or site?
The Knoxville History Project is available for hire to undertake client-specific research projects.
Our services range from short historical narratives, to be researched and written by Jack Neely (a journalist and speaker who has penned more than 12 books on local history), starting at $500, on up to much more complex projects including photo research and publications. We are happy to discuss the nature of your project to provide a more exact estimate based on your needs, the complexity of the subject, and desired timeframes.
We also offer photographic research services separately.
KHP works with local government, developers, property owners, nonprofits, and others. A sampling of recent research projects for clients, includes:
History of Knoxville Public Works
The Mayors of Knoxville
100 Years of the Tennessee Valley Fair
Knoxville’s National Cemetery
Knoxville Innovators
