Smoky Jack's saddlebags at the Birth of a National Park in the Smokies Symposium, July 26, 2024. Paul Adams purchased this Cavalry Officer's two-pouch case in 1925 and had it specially fitted with a belly strap for the dog at a leather shop on Depot Street in the summer of 1925.
