St. John’s Episcopal Cathedral is hosting a literary event on Saturday, March 15—appropriately, because its most famous parishioner was James Agee, author of the Pulitzer-winning A Death in the Family, and the church, in turn, is Knoxville’s only surviving building with a very intimate association with Agee. Our Jack Neely will be there at 11 a.m., talking about Agee’s associations with the church and his legacy in Knoxville. General admission is free, but registration is required. Register at:
