Join us on the second Tuesday of the month for an entertaining and informative program with Eric Dawson, manager of the McClung Historical Collection, and John Morton and Janine Winfrey, with Tennessee Archive of Moving Image & Sound (TAMIS), as a tie-in to the current exhibition, “Lights, Camera, East Tennessee!” currently open at the East Tennessee History Center through July 3. Eric is the former manager of the Tennessee Archive of Moving Image & Sound, part of the McClung Collection, and is an authority on film preservation and local film and music history. He has also contributed a story for every entry in KHP’s Knoxville Lives book series. John and Janine are film are experts in film preservation for TAMIS, which, along with the McClung Collection, is part of the Knox County Public Library.
